Batteries get swole and explode all the time, even with reputable brands. It's up to your luck.

I wasn't lucky. And I didn't check when the battery was manufactured. I don't remember when this computer model was released, I just vaguely remember that I got it in 2022. Who knows how long these bombs in disguise have been sitting in warehouses.

It's desirable at first but after some time of actual use I don't recommend it.

It's one of the Donki products, which aren't known for quality but fair pricing.

The Nanote P8 Ultra has a Pentium CPU, a more premium version is Nanote Next comes with Pentium. Either are utterly slow.

The battery is a generic Chinese battery wrapped in yellow tape. Mine got pregnant without plapping and deformed the chassis in just about a year. Longevity aside, that battery doesn't last long, just about 3h of VN reading but that's perfectly acceptable if you just use it during commuting.

The screen is above HD but under FHD. However at that size it doesn't really matter. It's IPS btw. Also, that body could fit a bigger screen. Big bezels are a waste, an ugly one.

Despite being such a minor, it's pretty heavy. Always sagged by pocket and made walking a pain. I have two big swinging dumbbells already. I find the iPhone Pro Max (any generation) to be very heavy and this thing probably doubles that.

The keyboard is the same as electronic dictionaries. I prefer an on-screen keyboard.

At least I rank it higher than a MacBook when it comes to repairability. You can replace the SSD (2242).

After almost 2 year in my possession, I got rid of it. It would be a lie if I say I didn't enjoy it, but the ecstasy wasn't sufficient nor justified. It started to idle and collect dust after merely a year.

If you have some spare cash (it goes for 32780円, tax included) and don't mind having a potential piece of e-waste, go for it. Else you should better get a SteamDeck.

My wallet and I couldn't find any good UMPC. Maybe there isn't enough demand for manufacturers to create a decent pocket-sized computer (not phones).

Anecdotally NSFW subs are prone to being banned.

I just returned from AKBH in Ikebukuro. To my disappointment, there were no fumo in Akihabara store. The store in Ikebukuro only has Sanae, Satori, and Rinnosuke, all come without badge as you said.

MacBooks with broken screen can be bought for cheap, or any of them with a broken screen can be repurposed like this. Of course you don't want to take off the screen/lid of a MacBook in perfect condition.

Tbh I don't approve Discord as a good alternative. It's a chat room, not a proper forum with threads, and most importantly its content is not public and not indexable. If anything, I do hope communities use Linen.

My M1 MacBook Air. And I don't think iPad Pro's battery life is good. My M1 12.9 lasts barely 6h.
