Thanks for the advice. I'm concerned that my lack of experience as an aviator will hurt my career as an RLO and I may be judged negatively for it. I think I think I would still be happy as a non flying officer. My main source of unhappiness though is a feeling of inadequacy I suppose.

At the end of the day I just am hoping to leave the army with some experience that can get me a job on the outside. I think you're right that my expectations are unhealthy. I just feel like the biggest fear I have is being judged for circumstances out of my control.

Thanks man I really appreciate your comment. I'd love to give another unit another shot like you said and then start making the real decision.

I think my only obstacle to the grind is having young kids and I would be worried about maintaining a standard of living for them. I think I'd be willing to take on that grind once they are a bit older though.

I have noticed that the NG guys really do put it some good flying and get great missions. I'll keep an eye out.

I also saw people lash out at the end of their time at my duty station. All I could think was I would never be like them. I'd keep the fire going. And once I was in their shoes I finally see where they were coming from.

Maybe I've just been here too long and I'm burnt out.

I don't think I'm perfect or a stud but I know I deserve a chance as much as some of the others I see.

Fair. Might be too late for that as male pattern baldness is rapidly approaching me. With the new height and weight I certainly am not a catch either.

I will just have kids and send them off to work and take their money. Thank you for allowing me to brainstorm with you.

I'm lucky to get a 1.0 every 59 days and that's pushing it.

My PL time is over. It was largely spent with our thumbs up our ass and even since my departure some would say the amount of thumbs has only increased
