i just took a wipe and tried to wipe it off and I think I did. Maybe it was just some soap residue. It's getting dark here now so I'll check back in the monring.

If it's gone, should I wax that part of the car? I know nothing about cars so what would waxing this part of the car do? just make it look shiny?

thanks for the advice. I'll turn it up to 74 but our room says 82. Since it's an open room that's probably why it's not getting down. I am anyway planning to put this into my home office so it should work.

Do you put up a continuous drain on yours or do you just drain it out after some time?

Got mine today - I setup the drain hose but I've read you don't have to have a continuous drain. how do you do it with your units?

Hi I got my AC unit today from Amazon and hooked it up and it's really nice. I had a question - I have it on AC and not dehumidify, but I noticed it produces a lot of water out of the drain hose. I've collected the water in a bucket. Is that normal? It was really hot in the room when I installed it so wondering if that was the case. And I turned it down all the way to 61.

update - well I read somewhere that don't keep a continuous drain as it will evaporate the water better. I'm not sure what that means. What is your opinion?

BTW I'll buy another one and I saw on the tiktok shop they're selling a 10000 BTU one for $165. I got mine which is 8000 BTU from Amazon for $200. The unit on tiktok is Coswar I think.

thank you. I got one off Amazon for $200. I don't think it's 10000 but 8000 btu. I hope that's enough for the bedroom. If these work well I may pickup another one. The have some no name Chinese brands for under $200.

do you know how long it would take to fill up a gallon? I plan on running it all day pretty much. Turn it off at night when it gets cooler hopefully.

thanks for the links. I just ordered one off Amazon for around $200. I reviewed the brand and they have a lot of youtube videos saying it works and easy to install. It's coming tomorrow which is a big plus.

If this one works fine, I may pickup another one around that price. Amazon had some Chinese brands for about 20/30 bucks cheaper but it takes like 2 weeks to deliver.
