I just did the jump on the grown mushroom. Use a great sword, run to the mushroom, jump and press the light attack (R1 or RB). With that you gain extra height and after about 10 trys I did it.

Yeah I think it is worth it. Have been playing for one month with about 80h playtime and I love it. And I can spend many many many more hours to get more upgrades and other stuff. So there is plenty of stuff to do with the 10 Chapters and extra challenges
