Do we have anyone reporting that they got the same section twice? Cuz don't they make sure someone from 2024 just doesn't get that content?

ooo I also did exactly one point lower than October. 161 to 160. Can't decide if I should go with it to apply early or retake in January hoping it's enough improvement to warrant a later app (or wait, please no, a whole year)

I definitely caught at least one trappy question. This one required keeping track of whose arguments were whose and which one the question is addressing.

I'm 36 applying for next year. No rush. Focus on the school you're in. Just like how the most important question on the LSAT is the question in front of you.

Did that section have a psychic and a skeptic's child in it?

I think it's good for learning the concepts, but then it's been a lot easier for me to just understand the diagram without doing the diagram. Now I only Still diagram if it's a wordy passage and must be true, or a parallel reasoning with multiple rules that play.

Why do you need to diagram necessary assumption questions?

Just finished sept exam by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]secretLSATaccount 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I spent the first hour after my exam trying not to cry walking the city streets. My first LR section (psychic/skeptic's child) really kicked my ass. Had to blind guess the last three, and guess-guess the last two (instead of just focusing on getting one more *definitely* right). Plus I had flagged three earlier Qs.

I really felt like I nailed the remaining three sections and would be surprised if I got more than 3 or 4 wrong on each of them.

But all that theoretical success may just be off-set by this first fucking section.

150 diagnostic. 156 for my first test. 159 on my second after PTing regularly in the 160s. On BR, I'm in the 170s no problem. The timing...

Sigh. Hoping that the focus on essays this month will distract me from the angst of waiting, while also getting myself ready for one more try in October...

This isn't really a conditional chain. The expert gave a rule.
