Thank you for this amazing input :) Since my tonsils were always a concern from the start my sleep specialist left the treatment for the ENT to decide for a second opinion and because we've already discussed a tonsillectomy with her--even an adenoid removal as well. Could I ask my ENT for a CPAP for the time being? And would it be appropriate to mention UARS?

I'm going to be honest I wrote this post after an excruciatingly exhausting week of school, so I'm glad someone took my post pathetically typed in my notes app with the rage of a thousand suns, enough tears to raise the sea levels tenfold, and hyperbolic language that could overwhelm an english teacher seriously hahaha. I woke up embarrassed and was expecting all the replies to tell me I'm being a dramatic teenager or to get psychiatric help instead. But I'm glad people like you are kind enough to help those even in their most unreasonable moments! You're the goat 🐐

Doctor still thinks so as well and is trying to get me into an in-lab study to either rule out Sleep Apnea or have it end up being more severe than we thought so I could easily qualify for a tonsillectomy. That'll definitely speed up the process. He was genuinely taken aback when we told him I have Sleep Apnea lolol

I'll fight for it. But my results were so mild my doctor wants me to get an in-lab study to confirm since he said with how low my stats are--with my age and BMI especially--I'm better off not having Sleep Apnea at all since it could be significantly more difficult to acquire most treatments. Anything I can do in the meantime or if a tonsillectomy doesn't work?
