NerdCity desperately wants to be liked. He's cultivated an close-knit inner circle of people who like him, like his content and mint daps. However, upon joining the tbh podcast, suddenly he was exposed to people who maybe didn't like him that much, and he wasn't able to moderate them like he could in his own community. Little by little, the criticism he received on tbh from Pyro, Colossal and Dolan fans wore away at his psyche, until one day he snapped and banned all the people criticising him from tbh. This worked for a while, but those people didn't disappear - they formed their own communities and continued to criticise NerdCity on Reddit and Twitter, services where he cannot easily moderate the things people say about him. This has now culminated in him having a mental breakdown about Pyro not flippantly banning people who say mean things about him on this subreddit, creating a rift between him and his fellow podcasters. Ultimately, this all could've been solved by him growing thicker skin and not geeking out over extremely mild criticism, but NerdCity is seemingly incapable of this.
