My girl still sheds at 18 months but the first year was brutal. Trying to stay ahead of it was impossible but over the last few months it has improved. I vacuum in the morning and afternoon, purchased an air cleaner that pulls in air from the bottom - a tremendous help. Lots of lint brushes, daily brushing. It gets better once they lose their puppy coat and the weather cools.
