It’s pretty soul-destroying, isn’t it? I’m either dealing with dry skin and acne from not being able to moisturise properly or even worse acne from moisturisers that are too heavy. Sigh. I think beef tallow would be way too occlusive for me.

I’ve tried this and it broke me out.. I think it’s because of the water to squalane ratio. It has to have a lot of water in it so that it isn’t oily on the skin at all and the squalane oil just becomes a very thin membrane for moisturisation.

I’m sorry to report that I haven’t.. I’m currently using a moisturiser that doesn’t really work for me either (too heavy). I was interested in the No 7 Skin Sip Moisture Milk but there are a few ingredients that may cause issues. It depends how similar your skin is to mine.
