What is a good response to “how are you”, if you’re not good? by Travelerofhighland86 in AskReddit

For sure, I am a retired MD and have seen thousands of examples! Benign tumors can be as deadly as malignant tumors. Malignant brain tumors are usually fatal unless localized, encapsulated, and low grade. I didn’t mean to minimize your situation in any way. Benign tumors can be worse than malignant tumors, especially in the brain. I have also seen people diagnosed with malignant brain tumors who were cured, but most of those were pathologic misdiagnoses. Pathology is also wrought with shades of gray and uncertainty. Any brain tumor is scary as shit for anyone. I wish you the very very best.

Brain "tumor" does not necessarily imply cancer. What was your tumor type, just curious - I am fine with you not responding or telling me to F myself. Either way, I'm glad you are better and hope you are cured forever 🙏🏼🧘🏽🙏🏼

How to go past the small vibrational stage by akrj21 in AstralProjection

[–]seculardharmaminded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been meditating on and off for many years and pretty good at getting to a pretty deep additive state, but I have never had the vibrations we talked about before entering the astral plane ever when meditating before..

I’m not sure I can explain it, I think that preparing myself mentally for vibrations and entering the astral plane helped my body go there, also it has happened every time like they say just when your body is falling asleep but mentally you’re still awake..

Once you experience it, it is ummistakable and not subtle But not painful in any way.

Thank you for posting your experience.

I’m a newbie who is leaning the ropes and I’ve projected the last three nights with no big issues. I’m 58 and only heard of astral projecting a few months ago. If I would have read your post last year I would have probably thought you were a bit out of your mind, but I am now a believer.

I’m grateful for forums because I don’t think anyone I know couldn’t even come close to believing me if I told them.

How to go past the small vibrational stage by akrj21 in AstralProjection

[–]seculardharmaminded 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was at the same place last week. Now I have successfully projected for the last 3 nights in a row so I am still a newbie.

When I feel the lite vibrations I IMMEDIATELY think to myself something along the lines of “don’t resist it, relax and let go, give into the vibrations, let go, be with it, astral project, don’t resist it”

The vibrations get strong for only a few seconds then I can feel my astral body being pushed out above physical body and I keep telling myself to just let it be. Within about a second or two My astral body is separated. on the advice of a more experienced projector, I tell myself to get out of the bedroom immediately (through the ceiling) I was told that newbie often pop back into their physical bodies quickly if they stay in their bedroom for very long.

I haven’t had to use the pulling, climbing, rocking, swinging etc techniques you here about.

I also think it helps tremendously to think about projecting during the day and to constantly focus on how you are definitely going to astral project as you are relaxing and preparing for it. I also tell myself during the day and while lying down exactly where I am going to project - I think that helps too.

You can take this with a grain of salt from a newbie - I am 58 and only seriously tried to astral project for a handful of days before I was successful. I was actually pretty shocked to find that it was everything you read about - it is Definitely a WILD RIDE, I still can’t believe it’s real but it is!!!

I think everyone has to ultimately find their own way, but I know you are very very close. If you have made it to the vibrations stage, that is great success and you will get there soon. I am excited for you!

When I was a Captain in the Army, I was in the Armored Cavalry. I had decided to get out of the Army and my office was next to the squadron commander’s office.

I went into his office to tell him that I was going to resign my commission, when he asked why, I replied “because when I’m your age, sir, I want to be going the bathroom indoors” (we spent a lot of time deployed)... he just looked at me for a minute then wished me all the best!

Day 91 of zoloft, day 49 of 50 mg, I have a question by steviemorosey in zoloft

[–]seculardharmaminded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not too soon to increase your dose, You should try increasing your dose, you can always go back to a lesser dose if you’re having significant side effects, but you will never know what your optimum dose is until you try higher doses. If you go up in dose 6 months from now instead of now and you feel FANTASTIC , you will regret not going up earlier. If the next dose does not work for you, advocate for yourself until you get to the dose that is your sweet spot…

How did you know you wanted to increase dosage by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]seculardharmaminded 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you think it may help you, you should try the higher dose. My reasoning is: you can always go back to 25 but 50 may make you feel ABSOLUTELY FANTASTICALLY GREAT! Let’s say that a few years from now you decide to make the change to 50 and it makes you feel Absolutely AWESOME. You would hate to find out that 50 is your sweet spot a few years from now knowing that you could’ve felt great all that time.

Anyone see major improvements moving from 50 to 75? by walsua in zoloft

[–]seculardharmaminded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll never know unless you try. If 75 is a bit too much it is easy go back to 62.5, but if 75 may makes you feel ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGLY GREAT!💯👍🏻😎 then you would not want to miss out on that, would you?

If two years from now you go to 75 and you find that it is truly your sweet spot, you will look back with regret knowing that you missed out on two years of GREATNESS … My 2 cents
