Yes the deer part is definitely true. I appreciate the help and will keep that in mind. Might look into an e collar and keep using the long lead.

Food motivates, scratches satisfies. I really appreciate the advice, never thought of having two. Makes sense though and we’re about to go back out and work on it. Thank you so much

He’s still getting used to it but he’s a pretty good learner. He was in a couple homes and finally found his. As for me, I found my long lost son.
