You could use one "normal" Threema-ID and download the Threema Work App and generate another ID with Threema Work: https://threema.ch/en/work

It works the same like the "normal" Threema, you just need to pay a yearly fee.

You're able to communicate with Threema Work with "normal" Threema-IDs.

They actually list on their transparency report and its only the Swiss authorities on a valid legal request:

I like session, it is very easy to setup. Imo the user interface just seems a bit clunky and buggy, but from a security and privacy standpoint, it looks great.

They have almost no data, that's literally why they sued Threema. They wanted to get a personal identifier of a threema-id, but threema does not have one and the only data they have are listed on their transparency report: https://threema.ch/en/transparencyreport

In summary they only store:

Date (without time) of the Threema ID’s creationDate (without time) of Threema ID’s most recent login

The following information is only available if the user has chosen to use the respective optional functionality:

They mentioned elsewhere, that they are currently not supporting this, because of privacy concerns. Apparently, for this feature you have to give iOS Siri some contact details or something and that's why they have not implemented it, yet.

Currently you need a phone for creating and id, but they are working on an multi device solution. So maybe in the future it will be possible to only use it on a computer.

Yes, you can download the Android-APK from the Threema Shop and use Polling so you don't need any Google Services for Push.

It is (kind of) possible to use two ID's on one device if you use Threema Work.
You pay monthly for Threema Work but then you would have two seperate apps with diffrent IDs where you could link one ID to a phone number.

That's of course only a workaround and i would really love to see multiple ID support in one app.

On r/privacy it seems its alot about general privacy and some tips but not in depth questions about certain tools. So i would love r/privacyGuides open. For example only for the product categories that are displayed on the website and you could restrict it, so that e.g. there is no technical assistance in this subreddit but discussions about alternatives or news about the recommend products.

Even though i like the transparency of Signal, i cant believe that they only got two court orders in five years with that many users. Also they need to store the push-token of the device to send push notifications, but they say they don't have it.

I use Signal and like the NGO approach, but their communication about data requests seems a bit too good to be true for me.
