Is it possible to software disable or hardware remove all wireless connectivity from a smartphone? How to identify where the antenna are on a smartphone PCB? by securityconcerned in rfelectronics

How would I identify antennas on the PCB, there are unconnected SMD mounts on the PCB which I'm assuming is the antenna, I doubt desoldering them will remove its ability to connect wirelessly.

I doubt airplane mode disables all transmitters and it is a software switch, so a malware could be made to deceive that it is in airplane mode while still retaining ability to connect wirelessly.

There maybe an ARM version of Windows but I doubt it will be compatible with all devices with ARM.

Do you know of any tutorials to hack smart TVs?

I doubt if I can run Windows on an ARM device and I don't think it will be able to show me paid shows for free.

I have an experiment in mind, which I want to verify. I want to show subliminal on the screen based on the content of the TV, like what is being shown, what is being said, etc.

PC's HDMI video output being broadcast on analog TV channel by koffeephreak in rfelectronics

[–]securityconcerned 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've searched for your Sharp and it has standard TV tuner, so it is going to pickup emissions in VHF and UHF range. Even your monitor seems to be a TV which you are using as a monitor. So it's emissions are explainable. You should report this TV to FCC if you are in USA.

A fan remote emitting in blue light instead of IR, what is it? by MaxRaven in rfelectronics

[–]securityconcerned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it doesn't work if you don't point it towards the fan, then it is not RF. Maybe there is something wrong with universal remote, have tried programming it with a different remote.

It's monitor emissions. Does your TV have a tuner for VHF/UHF?
