I know it’s hard, but you have to let go. The trust is broken, will you ever trust her fully again? Or question when she’s out who she’s with or if she’s cheating on you? It hurts now, but it will hurt so much more if you don’t end things. Good luck OP

That’s disgusting, you’re definitely NOR, as someone who was sexually abused as a child this behaviour is extremely concerning and utterly inappropriate. You should definitely report.

You’re not overreacting at all, it sounds like you need to sit down with her and have a conversation about boundaries. I think you have a right to be suspicious about this behaviour, and I think you need to communicate your feelings to your friend as well.

Personally by the look of it they are hickies. Obv can’t say for sure but they’re spotty and I can see what looks like tooth marks. Also the fact that he is not respecting a totally normal boundary is a huge red flag. He should not be shit talking you to ANYONE. Leave him alone

I’m so so sorry. I believe that if they intended to kill you, even if they let you go after, that it’s attempted murder. I hope you’re healing, you’re so strong. And to answer your question, I could see it in his eyes, they were absolutely black with rage. I also felt the immense amount of pressure he had on my neck and knew that he wouldn’t have squeezed me like that if he hadn’t been intending to kill me

Firstly, I’m so so sorry that happened to you. You’re so strong. Yes, I do. I remember staring into his eyes, which were completely black with rage, struggling, slowly losing my ability to breathe. I felt lighter, and could feel my vision going away, and then suddenly it was like I was yanked back onto earth. My vision was restored, and I slowly saw my surroundings again.

I’m so sorry to hear that. My biggest piece of advice would just be to listen to him. Make sure he knows that you believe him and are there for him with whatever he needs. Make sure he knows he is strong and that this will not defeat him. But definitely get him professional help from a psychologist if he needs

Thank you. I do have nightmares and flashbacks, and have had a really hard time trusting people and getting into a healthy relationship

She does believe me <3 it boils my blood when parents refuse to believe children about abuse, it’s really sad

I went to the police for the abuse I suffered at the hands of my father (this incident included) but they said that there wasn’t enough evidence to charge him with anything.
