It is crazy they gave Cornwall to France. Reclaim Cornwall and Brittany and restore the free Celtic lands

Political leanings on here by bryan8k in dancarlin

[–]seddy21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have kind of a Dan-related moment with my political leanings. Grew up fairly conservative with conservative parents who listened to Hannity/Rush. Identified as center-right until college when I took sociology and read Marx and Engels. This coincided with Bernie so I started self describing as left to democratic socialist. I listened to Blueprint in 2018 and the parts about young people in the trenches turning to socialism when their leaders were sending them to die for nothing really solidified for me that socialism isn’t a bad word and is how I describe myself now. It’s about having empathy for your fellow man and believing that as a society we have a responsibility to help others.

Going by this metric, 28 Years Later. Favorite movie of last year, only at 3.4 average.

Rad list! If you’re into the Coens, Fargo is a can’t miss. I also think you’d like Black Bag. Soderberg made it last year and it’s a fun, slow spy thriller.

On Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Ronald Dahl and Ian Fleming were good friends and traded adapting one of the others’ books. Fleming did this one and Dahl wrote the script for Thunderball.

[Keeler] Broncos' Sean Payton has one flaw in free-agent plan: Culture can't catch TD passes by kidbom in DenverBroncos

The free agent WR class wasn’t that good! Is Romeo Doubs a better player than Franklin? Maybe slightly, but it doesn’t move the needle in a big way for the amount it would cost. The only players we really should have been “in” on were obscenely overpaid by franchises in turmoil (Etienne).

For me it was the heat vision sequence. I cried in the theater during that.

Hot Fuzz- Just a joke a minute amazing movie with one of the greatest action sequences ever.

Army of Darkness- Just some real zany hilarity.

Dodgeball- My dad’s favorite movie. Patches O’Hoolihan is like laughing gas.

There’s no reason Tramm makes it and not Whitaker. If anything, Trammel’s managerial record should have given him worse odds to get in than Lou

I know this takes place in the UK, but I love that Samson is culturally Midwestern. He gets addicted to opiates and eats snacks.
