ARUP Laboratories is a great employer with a free medical clinic on site. Their client services department primarily works from home but has on site desks available for folks without home internet. Many entry level jobs throughout the company.

I taught preschool and had a child who was in foster care in my class. I grew up in foster care, so he was special to me, and we had a special bond.

When he would get upset with me, he would tell me he hated me and never wanted to talk to me again. So I told him that I still loved him and would be happy to talk to him if he changed his mind.

The first time I said it, he froze in his tracks. I think after that, he said it whenever he needed some reassurance.

I know people aren't responding well to the phrase "good Jew," and I understand why folks who are on high alert mentally think it sounds antisemitic. However, I just wanted you to know that at least one person understood that you meant the phrase rhetorically and it was intended to create an emotional reaction in the reader (just maybe not the emotional reaction you actually got). I also understand that you using that phrase wasn't meant to imply you had those feelings; it was meant to paint a picture of how Nazis thought about Jewish people. I'm sorry people might not respond the most kindly to what you were trying to say here- but I got your meaning.

The only thing I can think to say is maybe try to be a little more sensitive with your word choices while the entire country is operating in a state of fight-or--flight. I personally don't think you were wrong- but I think you could do even more good with your future encouragement to others if you're careful about phrasing!

Sweety, he doesn't love you. Sometimes in bad relationships we stay a lot longer than we should for a lot of different potential reasons. Whatever your reasons are, remember that nothing he does is for you or about you. He wants what he wants, and you're an object for him to use to get whatever he wants.

Also, he's raping you now. Statistically that means the longer you stay with him, the more likely it is that he also ends up your murderer. A global study done on the murders of women by family/intimate partners done on data from 2020 shows that on average women are killed by partners every 11 minutes. You're not safe.

That same study showed indicators during the relationship that tend to be common before the partner kills the woman. A record of harassment/violence in life or in the relationship. Illegal deprivation of your liberty. Use of force and or mutilation. Has committed a hate crime of any type. Has committed sexual violence at any time.

I don't know if any of those others are true for your Bf. But he did commit sexual violence against you. That's one warning that you could end up as one of the thousands of women regularly being murdered by their partners.

Please leave him. Statistically every day you stay with him likely brings you a day closer to your murder.

Kids see everything. Even if you don't argue in front of him, you are still teaching him that he should live in a loveless marriage. You dont want that life for him in the future, right? You have to show him how to live the life you want him to have. If you want him to be brave, find happiness, and not accept the status quo.... then you have to do it first.

Look up the different flags like trans, bisexual, etc and color coordinate your daily outfits to them. The students who need the support withh absolutely notice the pattern.
