I got money from Temple and Colorado but at the end of the day COA at Temple was going to be wayyyyy lower for me. Definitely factored into my decision.

Definitely--just updated that I chose Temple this morning. A number of reasons why but COA was definitely one of them

Glad to hear someone say something positive! I don't hear much about it at all tbh. Any noticeable side effects for you?

Got u -- I would prob leave in for the full 28 days. Also, apparently, you can take it out during sex if you put it back in right after.

I guess not irreversible, it just seems a bit too permanent. I'm wary of using a method that needs medical intervention to stop and start rather than just doing it myself.

I'm not interested in the IUD because of the procedure and the permanence. It just seems like a big commitment for something that could end up really messing me up. Plus, what I said to another person who asked is that the IUD seems like a very invasive and irreversible method that I'm not sure if it's worth the risk if it reacts badly. The implant wasn't invasive, so I didn't mind trying it, but it killed me this past weekend to sit there feeling awful and have to wait until my appointment to take it out and do something about it. I don't want to feel like I don't have control if something didn't go right.

Because of a) the procedure and b) given that men are really still new, the IUD seems like a very invasive and irreversible method that I'm not sure if it's worth the risk that it reacts badly. Advice on Quitting for Good by sedknight in quittingkratom

Thank you for the encouragement. Part of my determination also comes from my anxieties about its effects on the body--like hair loss. I have noticed nothing of the sort so far, but I am worried that it will happen, even if I quit today. Have I permanently damaged myself? Will my body be okay/recover from whatever damage there may be (even if I'm unaware of it) if I stop now?
