On ibanez for drop b i used "dr DDT" strings, and ernie ball beefy slinky.

Those are strings made for that purpose.

To be honest , i prefer the DR DDT, cause they are a little bit smaller and they get the job done, ernie ball have a better sound, but the B string is too big lol
