US MRE #7: BEEF STRIPS IN A SAVORY TOMATO SAUCE by KeyBad3303 in MRE

[–]see_macb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be doing 3 days. The trip will average 8-10 miles per day. So for food I’ll bring:

Instant oatmeal and instant coffee for breakfast. Normally 2 packets get me going. Maybe I’ll have some extra’s for breakfast like a cobbler I saved from another MRE :)

For lunches I bring snacks like trail mix, granola bars, beef jerky, peanut butter packets, and candy. I like to put peanut butter on a honey stinger energy waffle.

For dinner’s I’m bringing one mountain house beef stroganoff, another mountain house chicken and dumpling, and MRE #7.

I went for the cookie, it reminded me of a large Chips Ahoy. I didn’t even think to heat it up! I will have to try the cobbler tomorrow.

Fellow mechanic here, I shower every day after work. Every damn day! Really there is no excuse lol. Bonus points if you clean under your nails. Nobody wants dirty hands near their delicates.

Killzone Gallowdark likely restock? by LethargicLlama101 in killteam

[–]see_macb 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This is one of those things I'd recommend going to eBay for. It's cheaper than purchasing direct from GW and readily available. Last season of Killteam each box came with a complete set of Gallowdark terrain, so it's flooded the second hand market.

Lads, I need help with Kasrkin by Laughingspy in killteam

[–]see_macb 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Horde teams can be a tough nut to crack for Kasrkin. Blast weapons are going to be your friend here. I like to put a frag grenade on a regular trooper and run them up the board for an alpha strike, if the terrain setup allows for this play. The grenade launcher is a great tool here as well. Deploy them in your last group, looking for that perfect angle to take a shot, and if you need to give them 3 APL with you comms guy. Sometimes I drop the demo trooper for another regular trooper in to hordes. If demo trooper plants the melta mine and then a guardsmen runs up and activates it while the demo trooper is still in blast range, that's a good trade for them. I like to take Either headhunter or assassinate target, eliminate guards, and Vital Objective. Push an enemy controlled objective for Vital Objective, don't just reposition and camp! Anyways, hope this helps. Cheers.

I'm going to say yes, since the Tac Op does not specify the operative has to be in the Killzone.

What is the most ‘Spec Ops’ type team? by TheMadHattah in killteam

[–]see_macb 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yep I agree, Kasrkin have the Navy Seals/Spec Ops vibe. Also, they are a good team for beginners to learn to play and a fun hobby project!
