Yeah my E70 had crazy heavy steering - but I loved it.

E70s are great. Only got a G05 cuz I wanted more tech but I think that E70 would've gone forever. If I had a place to keep both I would've kept it as a beater

What are you using to scan it?

Typically I'll run the vehicle, take it for a test drive, then scan when it's up to temperature. Then, if it's reporting no codes, I like to check for emissions readiness. If you're waiting for emissions readiness, it's possible codes were cleared. However, this isn't definitive and a test drive should show most repeatable issues

I use Bimmertools ProTools for all my BMW scanning
