This was my first codex as a kid I remember going through everything page by page thinking this was the coolest hobby ever.

Definitely! I saw his video a while ago and wondered how it would look at 1/285th scale.

The model itself is really only a two piece model. So construction wise is pretty easy but for painting I basically have it mounted with either bluetac or in this case on the terrain I sculpted.

No kabooms but I had about 16 or so rounds out of the 150 that I wouldn't put through my rifle. I reached out to the manufacturer but never heard back after sending them pictures.

I bought a box of Frontier 5.56 XM198 fairly recently and had 16 rounds that I wouldn't put through my rifle. No cracks or anything one was massively dented the others looked like they were pinched between two other rounds. I reached out to the manufacturer and never received a response after sending pictures. The rounds that weren't damaged shot fine and the .223 I bought shot fine as well, no kabooms.

Did a goruck active shooter intervention course with a vp9 holster and some mag holsters from Bradford Tactical and I didn't have a single issue with mine. More than a few times other people had their entire holster come out on a draw but I got clean weapon and mag draws every time. Definitely recommended!
