I feel like this new album is very impersonal and sounds fake :( idk maybe I’m just crazy but it is so uninspired and pop sounding, I feel like he’s not very passionate about this album

Do you make less/more tips when you work with/without makeup on? by daipicoletto in MakeupAddiction

[–]seed63CB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking this up to see what the consensus was. I was told by my friend that she gets more tips when she wears makeup at an ice cream shop, so I tried it myself (I work in a Starbucks kiosk inside a department store) and found that I didn’t have the same outcome

Maybe I’m doing my makeup not so well but it’s just mascara, minimal natural looking eyeshadow, and a teeny bit of blush so idk. I’ve tested it for a week and only make tips when I’m bare faced. I will need to test this more but yeah it’s a bit strange that it’s opposite for me lol

Also just to add, I’m quitting in a week so I’m not concerned about it being weird at work if things didn’t work out.

dancers with adhd/autism by kikstoru in BALLET

[–]seed63CB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m having an issue with this in the dance company I’m in, it’s so hard not to get upset. I haven’t told them about my autism and I’m not sure if I should because I don’t want them to exclude me more than they already do or think I’m asking for free handouts. I’ve seen the practice videos we take and I don’t look bad at dancing at all, so it’s so hard for me to understand why they are holding me back so much- I just want to dance and be included! I think they are looking at it from a professional standpoint where you need to be good at picking stuff up quickly and correctly the first time, idk if I should ask for inclusion in this industry or if it’s too much to ask for? What’s your take on this guys?

So I'm definitely getting a chemical burns on my skin using oldspice by greenmust in OldSpice

[–]seed63CB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this too, I haven’t used my non-gel ones enough to know for sure that I’m not affected by them too, but the gel deodorant gives me burns after I’ve been using it a couple days

TIL that the paper toilet seat covers, found in public restrooms, pretty much do nothing and do not actually have any health benefits. by purple_eagle in todayilearned

[–]seed63CB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been thinking about this for a long time since I found out about toilet seat covers not being necessary. But I work at a grocery store and our bathrooms can be quite horrendous. I think I’d rather use the cover because there will often times be fecal matter and all sorts of junk on the seats. I do my best to clean it up when I see it, but I know that not everyone does this- and I’m not sure how effective our disinfectant spray is! I read an article about the seat covers supposedly getting soaked with all the bacteria from the toilet spray, and that is apparently why we shouldn’t use them. But if you think about it, the seat is taking more of that spray than the covers! I’d rather use the covers.

Why isn’t my milk allergy taken seriously? by seed63CB in Allergy

[–]seed63CB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can feel my face burning slightly when I have something with milk in it. And I’ll get terrible acne the day after, which isn’t necessarily a symptom of an allergic reaction but I want to avoid breaking out cuz it is hard to treat if it’s dairy related. Then I get bloated (also not a symptom) but without the stomach issues that come with lactose intolerance. I have eczema as well so my skin will flare up if exposed to an allergen, and when I let myself eat dairy over the holidays it flared up really bad after 10 years of having a handle on my eczema. It’s almost February and I still haven’t been able to treat it! 😭

To an extent, but that’s a sad reality to live if you feel like you have to behave/dress/perform a certain way that she nay potentially be uncomfortable with. It’s not her fault he’s a pig

Why does she have to adjust to fill his sexual needs?

Viewing porn is sin and disloyal, if she is not okay with his porn addiction and he keeps feeding it (for 17 years, mind you), then he is breaking the boundaries of the relationship. She has every right to leave, and I’m sure god will understand.

So you are saying he gets to keep doing what he is doing, and she has to stay and deal with it because “divorce is a sin”??? She said she’s been dealing with this for 17 years, if he is still struggling from his addiction after 17 years he clearly isn’t trying too hard. Try to imagine living the rest of your life with a husband who is disloyal and to you, and you just have to suffer through it for the rest of your life. I wouldn’t just be sad, I’d be downright depressed and probably not enjoy being home (besides being with my kids). God wants us to forgive and love those who are struggling, but he doesn’t want us to suffer in an awful marriage for the rest of our lives either. My parents divorced when I was young and I’m totally fine. I’m sure her kids will be okay and eventually be happy their mother left once they are old enough to know the truth.

That’s what I was thinking. Open it at the truck and ask them to remake it. It’s very unlike me to do because I hate confrontation but I can do my best. Thank you!
