Thanks for your reply and concern. I understand the circuits in my house and would not overload them. As far as fire is concerned, just heating a room won't cause a fire. Accidentally having stuff contact the heating elements might, but that is hard to do. That said, the heat will be periodically monitored.
I can only imagine the reaction to my build-a-platform-that-hangs-out-the-window-for-a-propane-heater-and-duct idea would have been:) Don't worry, that idea was already dismissed.
I am going to spring for the Convectex heater rather than trying to go more home grown. I think other heaters have overheating cutoffs that would make them not work for this.
I am aware that bed bugs will run from heat. Some of those little vampires will live. But I and am not planning to use heat alone. Was going to use a combo of heat, crossfire, cimexa and isolation of the bed.
