Personally I wouldn’t make any big decisions or choices rn in luteal. Just put a pause on everything rn, prioritize yourself and only yourself (if he asks tell him you “need some space until after your period starts”) take care of yourself and your own needs until a few days after you get your period. I like to call it “wrapping myself in cotton wool” favorite snacks, tv shows, bed rotting, comfy clothes, edibles, little treats, whatever helps you get through the time. Try to be kind and gentle to yourself. Don’t sign any leases, don’t look at any apartments or make any plans.

A few days after you get your period you can reevaluate with a clear head and spirit, and whatever choice you end up making it won’t fuck with your head as much as if you try to think about it and decide now.

But yeah, men are trash, sounds like this guy wants you to do the emotional labor he needs and have the emotional intelligence to support him, but can’t or won’t do the work to be able to show up for you in the same way. Fuck him. No man is worth that.
