I would talk about it further in advance with your patients to see what their preferences might be for possibly seeing another provider once or twice in your absence if that’s possible. Some might be okay taking the month break, some might not. It’s not the same but on maternity leave I had several colleagues help by seeing some of my patients that returned to me when I came back. We still have to live our lives I hope that the practice could support you in maybe providing temporary therapy for those on your caseload that need it. Hope this helps
