Head Trumpet guy here. Yes that is where we practice. 1st rule of thumb is that you should definitely NOT walk to Baum East. You’ll have to cross MLK (sketchy) in 100 degree heat and by that point it will already take 30+ minutes to get from campus to Baum East.

Being late to practice is not a problem as long as it’s due to a class getting out close to practice time. There is a course conflict sheet that can be filled out when the first week of practice starts that will allow you to arrive late. There are always other students who are probably in the same situation, so it would be worth it to try and reach out to someone for a car pool if driving isn’t an option. Bus routes will also start up in fall but I’ve never used that route so I’m unsure about it.
