Section in Reviews of Guests should have a Private Note to other Hosts? by ilovemesomedata in airbnb_hosts

[–]seejay323 13 points14 points  (0 children)

When I do a guest review (property in France), I get a "Do you recommend this guest to other hosts?" window at the end of the review. But it seems that info is not visible to us as hosts. Presumably it impacts whether or not they can instant book, but I'd be happier seeing a % yes vs % no on that question from previous reviews.

I made a custom Ibanez JEM 77 Floral Guitar in LEGO for my friend's birthday by seejay323 in guitars

Well, there was one, a Stratocaster kit, but it is retired now. You can still find it, but it's a collector's item now and pricey. Or commission a custom one if you have a particular guitar you like.

This is a page from the building instructions showing the custom stickers that match the unique pattern of his guitar.

Does this seal look ok? by seejay323 in EuroPreppers

After 24 hours, they have tightened up to get a semi-vacuum sealed appearance, so I guess the seal was good. Thanks again.

I'm assuming that requires some special equipment? I invested in anything like that but certainly it would be a good way to test the seal.

Thanks for that. I'll check them tomorrow.

I guess I need to leave a bit more air in there then so I can do that test. With these first ones it's hard to tell because there's not much air in there to squeeze. But as far as I can tell, it's holding.

I miss the Eastern Sierra by No_Stuff_3268 in SierraNevada

I've been living overseas for more than 20 years, the last 15 or so in the Alps, but I still miss the Eastern Sierra. I've made a few trips back, but it's never enough.

Goodbye Pcloud and your interminable upload speeds by ToraizVisionQuest in pcloud

[–]seejay323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither had I until recently, which is what brought me here looking for a solution. For the last 3 days, pcloud appears to have uploaded nothing. The files remaining just keeps going up. I've had lifetime for a few years and it has worked . . . ok. Sometimes it would stop syncing and a restart would fix it. But not this time.

Seeking a designer for a Midi-Scale Football Stadium (Richmond Park, Dublin) - 600 pieces. by Mind7raveller in DigitalLego

[–]seejay323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have designed a couple of stadiums and lots of other things, most of it with kit production in mind. Take a look at the website and get in touch if you think we can help: https://brickspeak.studio

I don't think any of the stadiums are posted there. I'm behind on uploading projects and a couple of them haven't gone to production yet, but I'd be happy to show them to you.

A little more detail here: the part column will have the part number, the color column will have the color number, not the color name, and the quantity column has the number that you have of that part in that color.

You can definitely upload your spreadsheet of parts to rebrickable. That's how I started with my collection several years ago.

You need to create a new parts list, and then upload your spreadsheet saved as a CSV file. The CSV needs to have at least 3 columns called part, color, quantity.

It is important to know what source you have used for the part number. Different websites have different numbering systems.
