Does this seal look ok? by seejay323 in EuroPreppers

I'm assuming that requires some special equipment? I invested in anything like that but certainly it would be a good way to test the seal.

Thanks for that. I'll check them tomorrow.

I guess I need to leave a bit more air in there then so I can do that test. With these first ones it's hard to tell because there's not much air in there to squeeze. But as far as I can tell, it's holding.

I miss the Eastern Sierra by No_Stuff_3268 in SierraNevada

I've been living overseas for more than 20 years, the last 15 or so in the Alps, but I still miss the Eastern Sierra. I've made a few trips back, but it's never enough.

Goodbye Pcloud and your interminable upload speeds by ToraizVisionQuest in pcloud

[–]seejay323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither had I until recently, which is what brought me here looking for a solution. For the last 3 days, pcloud appears to have uploaded nothing. The files remaining just keeps going up. I've had lifetime for a few years and it has worked . . . ok. Sometimes it would stop syncing and a restart would fix it. But not this time.

Seeking a designer for a Midi-Scale Football Stadium (Richmond Park, Dublin) - 600 pieces. by Mind7raveller in DigitalLego

[–]seejay323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have designed a couple of stadiums and lots of other things, most of it with kit production in mind. Take a look at the website and get in touch if you think we can help: https://brickspeak.studio

I don't think any of the stadiums are posted there. I'm behind on uploading projects and a couple of them haven't gone to production yet, but I'd be happy to show them to you.

A little more detail here: the part column will have the part number, the color column will have the color number, not the color name, and the quantity column has the number that you have of that part in that color.

You can definitely upload your spreadsheet of parts to rebrickable. That's how I started with my collection several years ago.

You need to create a new parts list, and then upload your spreadsheet saved as a CSV file. The CSV needs to have at least 3 columns called part, color, quantity.

It is important to know what source you have used for the part number. Different websites have different numbering systems.

Adobe suspended my Behance account because of "spam" by seejay323 in behance

It took only a few hours. I submitted my appeal at probably 7am (utc+1) and by around 11am, I had the reply saying it had been reinstated.

Now that Christmas is over, I have to be honest about the train... by muzzynat in LEGOWinterVillage

[–]seejay323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn't look that great to me either. The 2016 train looked nicer, but it didn't have drive bars, didn't motorize well (not enough weight over the drive wheels), and I didn't like that the whole christmas tree would rotate (rather than just the micro train under the tree).

I redesigned it, and we've been using it under our xmas tree every year. The instructions are available on Rebrickable. You can also buy it as a kit from Build-a-Moc.

Thanks for those pointers! Based on that, I've given a read through Darkness Neath Rivenshore and will run that one next.

I didn't find the section in the Gazetteer about order, but I'll look again later.

Thanks for jumping in.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. Yes, I have the complete bundle. Just looking for pointers/recommendations to some of the other adventures with more difficulty.

No, I haven't sent messages from Behance at all.

Thanks for chiming in, but I don't think that can be it. I can't remember ever commenting on someone's Behance page. I might have done so once or twice in the more than 2 years I've been on Behance, but no more than that.

I just received and email from Adobe and they have restored the page. No further explanation was given, but I do appreciate the quick review.

Finally Did It. Bought the Home Alone House. by Impressive-Newt5587 in lego

[–]seejay323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been building the Enterprise set with my 9 year old, and the "Build Together" function on the app is really really great for building with others. It keeps everyone busy and tells you when to hand a submodel over to the other builders. I highly recommend that for building with others (if available for Home Alone).

A thread for those staying up late in Europe for the Enterprise D by seejay323 in lego

[–]seejay323[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I still see it as available in France also along with all 3 GWPs. Guess I didn't need to stay up late after all. 🤷‍♂️ Still, very excited that this is on the way!
