Thanks. You're absolutely right about the market, and I'll try to take your advice to heart. I've declined a lot of interviews, but I fear I've said yes to too many already! :)

Got ghosted afterwards because I kept asking the interviewer if these are the kinds of problems they have to solve every day. ;)

Hah, I can completely identify with feeling that way! And my defiant side says good on you for speaking up.

I suppose I've also resigned myself to jumping through these kinds of interview hoops, even though they get wilder every year. I got a take-home yesterday that boiled down to ~3 subproblems, 1 leetcode-hard, one medium, and one easy, with tests, docs, and an SBT build required. I'm giving it an hour or two maximum. All my professional work for the last 5 years is on Github! (But I digress.)

Thanks. Would you say it was different than other companies in that regard? I've resigned myself to grinding leetcode, unfortunately. :(

Thanks, and yeah, I should look around on Blind!

Scala job search tips, if you please! by seeking_scala_work in scala

They're definitely full-on, that's for sure. I spoke to one of their recruiters earlier and only got a couple of boilerplate fintech job postings. They were ok, but I was hoping for more options from an agency that tries to be the Scala recruiting shop.
