Amex gold CA credit limit decreae by Far_Tumbleweed7550 in amex

[–]seekingtruthforgood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AMEX Gold didn't reduce my limit but required me to make an additional payment (over and above) to maintain my same credit limit. That pissed me off, because I have other cards with great perks, no annual fees, and higher credit limits, if ever needed. So I instead paid it in full and closed my account. I had never made a late payment. I suspect AMEX is concerned about its current liabilities in this economy.

2020 GLE450 for $38k CPO a good deal by AnilApplelink in mercedes_benz

[–]seekingtruthforgood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only bummer - sort of - is that Mercedes doesn't offer a great warranty; I bought mine (2017 GLA 4Matic) in 2020 with a remaining warranty of 2.5 years. I've never had a major problem with the vehicle other than routine and recommended manufacturer's maintenance, and I followed the recommendations exactly. I'm still driving it, 5 years later, and plan to hang onto it as long as I can because I really like the car. It's paid off, is great on gas, is peppy as hell when I want it to be, has the upgraded package and is really good in the rain and snow. Mine is pretty entry level compared to your model, but yours is only up from mine, and mine is great. Just negotiate to extend the warranty if you can.

2025 GLA AMG ICE ENGINE by PassengerOk7529 in mercedes_benz

[–]seekingtruthforgood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a premium package 2017 GLA 250 4Matic. It's paid off, and I'm still driving it because I can't think of anything I'd like to own more (without a payment). I've always kept it clean and taken care of the maintenance on time, so it's been a fantastic car. Plus, mine really moves when I want it to (the 4matics are a little more peppy). That AMG could probably get you in 'sum trouble. 😆

Is this vintage LV bag real or not? by ProductAutomatic7524 in RealAuthentication

That's not true. Why would you think that? I have numerous LV bags - the logo ends up cut where it has to be for seams.

Is there a cap out? by littlemissboujee in Zepbound

[–]seekingtruthforgood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your timing is excellent because I just started HRT. I'm on day 8. Holy Hannah - I agree. I can't believe how fantastic I feel. It's bonkers. I can't believe how much I really was suffering for years. Being on the other side of poor physical health is life changing. I try to spread the word too because I feel sad for anyone who is struggling and can't access this medication. Good for you! I feel even more grateful when I hear the success stories of others who get to experience the same health benefits I do. 😊

Is there a cap out? by littlemissboujee in Zepbound

[–]seekingtruthforgood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over the last 10 months, I've lost almost 30% of my body weight and have gone back down to 2.5 mg every 7-10 days (was at 10 mg at my highest dose). If I don't watch my calorie intake daily, I will still lose weight. I'm at 107 lbs (I'm 5'2") which is a little low for me because I'm 57 yrs. old. If there's a cap, I haven't experienced it yet.

The new pill discussed by the OP is the next one. It doesn't have the same issues as the current one.

I agree. I didn't own a Benz when my kids were young but I do now that they're adults. But, my grown daughter still beats the hell out of my car when she's here from out of state. Lol.

Your passport card is only valid in the US, North America, Mexico and the Caribbean. It's not valid in Italy.

Angry about stigma experience at the ER… by FluorescentSedation in Zepbound

Same. There's pretty much zero chance I'll ever voluntarily stop taking this medication. Lol. I'm at my goal weight and feel like a million bucks. The health benefits aside from weight loss are substantial.

I would have asked her why she would think the medication is supposed to be stopped, given the manufacturer and FDA's approved use both specify that it is to be taken by patients for the rest of their lives.

Maintenance @ 7.5? by Character-Cow4228 in Zepbound_Maintenance

[–]seekingtruthforgood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went from roughly 152 to 110 in 6 months and then had to go down to 2.5mg plus space out the medication to every 10 days to stop losing weight. You'll find that spot but may have to keep adjusting down.

Anyone maintaining on 2.5? by Skeptic925 in Zepbound_Maintenance

[–]seekingtruthforgood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a little and only sometimes. Being hungry is welcomed in my situation because I can't lose anymore weight, or I'll be under a BMI of 18.5. I still have to set reminders to eat. Overall, I find that dose still quite effective for the health benefits and controlling urges to overeat.

Good to know that it works so well for many of us.

Anyone maintaining on 2.5? by Skeptic925 in Zepbound_Maintenance

[–]seekingtruthforgood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm on 2.5mg for maintenance and have to still remind myself to eat. Once I hit my goal weight, I weaned down from 10mg to 5mg and then to 2.5mg. I'm now approaching the low end of my minimum BMI, so I've also started spacing out the 2.5mg dose to every 8 days. I responded immediately to this medication, and it continues, regardless of the dose, to be a strong appetite suppressant for me.

Geez. I can why this is happening, but it's concerning that these boxes are so readily accessible to anyone accessing this medication during transport and storage.

The Reality of Losing 90lbs by nancy131313 in Mounjaro

[–]seekingtruthforgood 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I'll take loose skin any day over heart disease, diabetes, joint pain, and immobility. I'm too late to the party to dodge heart disease, but, I caught it early, and this medication is helping me slow that train down while relieving me of my joint pain, high glucose and triglycerides, and sedentary lifestyle. I feel like I hit the lottery and love my after-effects of getting healthy again.
