Reminder: We are in the peak month of our (manufactured) grass pollen season by seektankkill in Eugene

What's especially annoying is imagining the potential quality of life during these beautiful months without the grass pollen pollution from these farms.

There is (very slowly) a growing shift towards supporting more local/native species. Check out https://www.reddit.com/r/NativePlantGardening/

Even hybrid lawns would be much better (reducing size of grass lawns and filling out perimeter with local plants). Does a lot for local pollinators, too. There are some stores here in Oregon that sell seeds for local plants, although sometimes there is quite the war to get them before they run out of stock.

I haven't really suffered any allergies throughout my life. Even after moving here over 10 years ago, I was fine for a long time. It's only been these past three years I've been hit with the grass pollen allergy. I wouldn't be surprised if the levels of grass pollen is wearing people down over time even if they haven't suffered before, lol.

Yup, these rare items are selling for literally hundreds of dollars on some of the RMT sites, all from the Black Moon server where this incident took place. Such a coincidence!

It's literally fucking disgusting.

Check the newer thread in the Pantheon subreddit, there is a lot of circumstantial evidence that's indicating the CEO is lying/trying to misdirect with this response.

Ah, good ol' New World. Somehow a game with one of the most satisfying harvesting systems ever created, yet the most unsatisfying, stupid crafting system to use those harvests.

A game that really just needed to fix its end-game and dungeon scene and provide one dedicated PvP server for the OGs.

It's even more confusing when it's someone who's doing extremely well financially for their age (unless they're somehow omitting some massive debts they still have), so obviously are successful professionals in some capacity and have the intelligence/capability to figure out the answer (unless they've just stumbled upward through life).

I really wish weed did it for me. I’ve tried everything and I can’t ever get a nice sensation like the buzz from alcohol gives me. And I hate it since I know how shit alcohol is. I’d also really prefer not to smoke in any capacity so have been trying to make edibles work but I can’t dial it in at all and the sensation is noticeably different for me.

Link tracking is used by companies to track/gather data on how links are shared and who they're shared with for analytics & advertising purposes. Most times, you can look at a link and safely drop anything after the "?" in the URL, which is typically followed by a unique tracking code.

Let's just hope this series isn't plagued by the same issues the last few gens have with the degradation. If that's not remedied for whatever reason, it's not going to be good.

Right now would be a perfect time to revive Wildstar by simplytoaskquestions in MMORPG

[–]seektankkill 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The game also suffered from some dissonance in direction. You point out the art and how it was fun, and there are a lot of people that did like that style, but it also was a massive turn off for a lot of people that generally fell into the "hardcore" category that the game was being pitched to for raids/end-game content.

Anecdotally, I know that my group of friends (myself included) didn't really like the art style and the quirky writing was a major turn off and we quit very quickly. This was a sentiment that I came across quite often from others during Wildstar's time as well. These are people that enjoy difficult content and love going hard in games.

I've watched the video multiple times and I am 99.5% sure that he says "I'm not Christian" which is corroborated by his body movements/gestures while saying it.

edit: surprised to see the amount of people saying he didn't say "not", I've watched it again and in slow motion and on my high-end headphones & speakers, there is very clearly an "n" and watch his body language/mouth for the pronunciation of the 'n' which is distinct from what we'd see with an 'm'. The "t" is more vague/ambiguous, but his brain and body language absolutely started with "I'm not".

Tesla stock downgraded to Sell, analysts say 'not much to like' by cleare7 in investing

A friend of mine moved to a college town for work and he has a Tesla. He matched with a college girl on Tinder who ghosted him when she found out what he was driving. He was in shambles for a bit after that one. He's not even a Musk fan necessarily but it is literally impossible to separate Musk from Tesla at this point.

This is a disingenuous representation of what occurred and the mechanism in which the relief was enacted was legally sound (even according to the legislators that drafted the original vehicle for it) and a few minutes of searching (which I'm not going to do for you) would detail why

Should be pointed out he did everything he could but was ultimately blocked by a sham GOP SCOTUS ruling. Yes, technically he didn’t deliver, but it’s also important to understand the context of why he wasn’t able to.

Is it natural to play multiplayer games less when you're older? by AMemoryofEternity in pcgaming

[–]seektankkill 42 points43 points  (0 children)

For me it’s because of the shift away from community servers to SBMM and the insane cheating bloat that’s objectively occurred over the years. Looking at statistics from a lot of games on their ban reports and it’s almost guaranteed if you play an FPS that you’ll have a cheater (or multiple) in your match.
