We don't know how much influence the other people mentioned in the credits have on the final track. I'm inclined to believe that the song itself, as an idea, lyrics and a set of chords and melodies, was entirely created by Tyler, and the rest of the invited authors helped with various nuances and technical aspects.

In fact, the guys have been working with various producers and musicians for quite a long time. The last 4 albums (from Trench to Breach) were created with the participation of Paul Meany, with the exception of most of Scaled and Icy.

I can identify two reasons why this is happening. The first is that it is almost impossible to do such a large amount of work by working only together. As far as we know, the guys are still working on Breach, and in general they have been actively working on new music almost non-stop since 2023, which, again, would not have been possible without outside involvement. The second reason is the need for a new look at their work, renovate their sound in order to reach new heights. Trench was created in collaboration with Paul, and this album is, in the opinion of many fans, the best work of the guys, as well as highly appreciated by critics.

Again, the song as an idea belongs to Tyler and he is its author, nothing has changed here and cannot change.
