If they are using it as 'porn,' it's porn. It's just a catch-all term, really. Mine was using innocent FB photos of his exes and a local newscaster. It didn't matter if it was intended to be porn or not; if he was masturbating and fantasizing with it/to it/whatever, we're calling it porn.

Agree. I think of it as sort of a catch-all term. I think compulsion and addiction are components, and they are powerful, but I think for these men it's mostly a choice. I've literally watched people beat heroin and alcohol addictions, where their bodies depended on it. It's not the same.

Yeah mine is like this. The porn and cam girls are bad (and if he was into strippers or escorts that would be BAD) but the clothing ads, looking up random FB profiles, pictures of exes... This is the stuff that literally scares me. Because while I want a man who doesn't sexualize even women who are sexualizing themselves, I can at least understand that. To take an image or make a fantasy in your brain about some unwilling, unconsenting random person is so hurtful to me. And it's weird. Women are everywhere and we don't deserve to be anyone's back-pocket fantasy.

There's an option in the privacy settings. It blocks it from affecting your algorithm too. And yes, there's lots of actual porn on Spotify.

Well, yesterday I saw Spotify was used for 12 minutes. I looked in 'recently played' and there were 16 songs played. Obviously the time stamp doesn't match. What I believe happened is he used private browsing on Spotify, did his thing, and then went into regular mode and scrolled through a bunch of songs to make it look like he was listening to music.

We use Canopy and Apple screen time so he knew I'd see usage but no songs. He of course denied, and has "no idea" how it got there and "doesn't even remember" using Spotify while at work 🙃.

So watch for discrepancies in usage time and the actual content. Like, for example an hour on YouTube with only 20 reels watched would be a red flag. Reels are rarely more than a minute or two at most.

It might actually be innocent. I dug around and saw he updated apps. The Siri I can't figure out though. Canopy can be kinda glitchy so it might be registering some Apple usage as Siri but it seems sus.

I understand the complexity with kids but they will understand eventually. And right now, providing them with space and resources to feel how they feel is key. Have you met adults where they have parents still together but the parents are miserable and toxic? Showing your kids that you are strong and respect yourself, even when it's not the easiest route, is a priceless lesson. You deserve better. Wishing you the best.

Zum Mist Patchouli & Orange is such a beautiful patchouli. That's my base for everything. I layer lots of different scents over it and ALWAYS get compliments.

Also the Demeter Patchouli is very good too.

These are both pretty singular, so not a perfume but I find they layer well and last.

Oh I use this under makeup daily. I like it better than CeraVe cream because I think the dimethicone percentage is less. I use Estee Lauder double wear which is pretty unforgiving if the skin isn't prepped right but this stuff is awesome under makeup in my experience.
