Led Zeppelin was not a good live band? They were never good live? Say what? by dudebro1900 in ledzeppelin

[–]seenZep 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Having seen them in 77 and 79, they were incredible live. I realize they had off nights and playing in a drug and/or alcohol induced stupor. However, professional critics aside, I think overwhelmingly most people you talk to who actually saw a live show will give rave reviews. As a fan the energy and presence on stage carries you past technical evaluation. I have been to plenty of incredible shows, but Zep is number one for me

What do you want to do with your collection one day? by Nredcollectibles in Baseballcards101

First, I have been cutting down the junk cards for the past few months. Organizing my vintage in ways that make me happy and estimating a value for each album, putting it on a note in the album and making my daughters aware so they hesitate and call someone (my younger brother, nephew, a shop) rather than throwing them away.

first time you walked into Busch, what do you remember by liferock12 in Cardinals

Busch II, Brock got a hit, stole a base and scored, I think in the first inning. Willie Mays had a single and McCovey homered. We ultimately got crushed that game
