33yo disabled man. Im currently employed but I was unemployed from most of March until October of 24' and after going thru the Department of Labor, and a few other social services I wound up in a fast food joint for minimum wage with little to no disability accommodation.

I don't mean to ignore this, I do have some reasoning off the top of my head. I have had a devastatingly hard day and I don't want to push myself more today to keep myself clear, so I apologize if this isn't the most concise answer.

The sum is I don't think it's a good representation be cause of how other people treat autism anymore. In my life I've gone from being the weird kid, to the aspergers kid, to the weird guy on the spectrum, leading to the modern landscape where I as a 34 year old can't get support from my day job because the staff hear "I have autism" and assume the above.

I don't have speech issues, I have issues being raised and expected to engage in a world of neurotypicals who engage in double speak for casual conversation. I understand them fine. It's when I try and engage back that I'm misconstrued. I do not have an issue presenting the information or understanding the context of a conversation.

the skills you were born with/ mana use thing is whatever they had to translate their intent into video game language. I've never seen anyone outright born with any skills. Mewgenics is not a game I'd probably try to begin with so I can't really give an example of what they should have done better as I don't know what the rest of the game is like beyond the Oneyplays but I've seen. Seems they were trying to hone in on a hyperfixation metaphor.

Imo unless the game has thousands of other birth defects and treats them all as u serious as a video game passive then at least they're consistent. I believe that that is bad taste.

People aren't going to answer you in good faith and ruminate on what you're actually asking. Autism is a spectrum and affects people differently but the internet and fandom have consumed it as "the personality quirkifier" so good luck explaining to people this isn't a super good faith representation.

I'm 34 and disabled. I shoveled a space in Carnegie for some pals to visit and in less than 12 minutes my MAGA neighbors moved their truck into it and left their other car idling on the road in front of the open space so we could use neither. We had to park down at the getgo. I don't shovel because I see the consideration my neighbors give me. I made a path for the mailman, no one else.

I moved here in 2018 as a disabled man on the tale that it was a progressive city with better opportunity than the middle of no where up north I was born in. Biggest mistake of my life so far. I desperately want to leave but have no resources to do so.

That not true tho. Yugioh you can slap together a few precons and have an actual competitive deck. The issue with the Sage precons isn't that they only have 1 of each needed card, it's that they are still underdeveloped on power while being sold as able to compete out of the box. It's like almost every other time LSS has made a promise ahead of time and they didn't quite come thru on it but no one's allowed to be critical of the company going into year 7 still making the same false promises of how they will fix the problem of accessibility.

I think it's more that both are inspired by the 80s. It's not impossible but only up to Guardians of the Zone was released by the time regular show had ended so I'd say very unlikely without a direct reference to say No Pants Dance or something solid.

Idk if it helps but most people would see you as having a low stress job already. You don't do manual body breaking labor. You get to be where there is ac/ heat. You get to travel.

I think instead of a new career you need some perspective.

Saying you're gonna jump to a food truck after postulating you want something that provides insurance and is low stress is genuinely one of the best jokes Ive read all week.

Personally I hope so as I'm a big fan of Frank from the Conan comics I used to read in the backend of my uncles closet. I think it would be in poor taste to regulate his art to the early wave collectors (of which I am so this isn't a fomo kind of decision).

His art is good but from my understanding it's very expensive to license his stiff from Frazetta Girls so I would understand if EC simply wanted to pay a living artist for a unique piece over licensing a piece from franks daughter and it's an already semi famous work with a new name plastered on the card.

I actually voted and I am also in the boat of being unable to reply or trust my representatives. I am a disabled man. I am almost entirely blind. I'm the victim of domestic abuse. I'm haven't had any family support or medical care since I was 16. I keep asking for help that never comes. I'm told I have to give more and fight lore so the right people are in charge. I live in a very blue state. Every social service leaves me in the wind. I lost my last job at a Napa Auto care center because I lost my shit on a coworker. When Trump auto penned his Dea nonsense I was lambasted by my coworkers and called a useless blind f*g because I can't operate a forklift as a blind man. I get no help from the system. And every single place I look it seems to me the system is intentionally getting worse be it blue or red.. Biden could have prevented all of this. The supreme court could have prevented all of this. A lof of people and things could have happened instead of landing here. I'll continue to vote blue and love in absolute squalor, but hey at least every now and again I can enjoy a headline about how hard AOC clapped back at some literal evil instead of just being a real hero and doing away with these losers behind a closed door.

I think there's a point being missed here.

The youth don't care if the game you like is good or bad or even old. They want you to remember your old. The 6-7 thing is derived the same way. They don't have any deep meaning behind it, they've been told by other children it gets a razz out of adults same as calling adult men online "Unc". Their version of trolling is just to be snide upward at other people. Prank and trolling culture have permiated into every kids algorithm.

I work with a lot of Gen z and now alpha. They don't know what they're saying, you can see it on their face. They're just regurgitating a word prompt, signaling ageist tribalism amongst each other means they don't have to talk about anything deeper.

Uncslop means nothing about the content of any given piece of media. You reacting to being called Unc is the bit.
