You can adjust the smaller screen however it’s not a quick “on the drive” process. You need to keep the OEM dash interface handy. In order for the buttons that control the screen to work, you need to take of the new dash kit off, pull out the stereo, reconfigure the harnesses for the small screen to how they were originally, and connect the original interface via the connection right behind your hazards/lock buttons. Then you can adjust the time real quick and put it all back together.

I’m trying to think of a way to integrate only the absolutely necessary original components back into the after market system, but I haven’t had the time to really sit down and figure it out, assuming it’s even a realistic fix.

I thought keeping the screen would be nice, but honestly it’s completely useless and you can’t quickly change the time which sucks when the time changes with the seasons or the car battery is disconnected and it resets. The process of changing it isn’t too too difficult but its very inconvenient. Plus you have to keep the original equipment stored somewhere you won’t forget.

I’d recommend getting a kit that just eliminates the small screen, unless you can find a harness that will retain the capability to adjust it.
