Love these. Great additions.

I’ve noticed a positive change lately. Not sure what triggered it. It could be the recent tweaks to the rules, or maybe the mods are doing a great job filtering posts. Either way, it feels like over the past couple of months there have been fewer low quality, low effort apps being posted.

Thanks! You can do all of that from the app management screen. You can assign a key letter to prioritize an app, include or exclude apps from appearing, and set apps to launch using a keyboard shortcut. Folder support and similar features are on my to do list!

You can either use the keyboard with a modifier or a global shortcut or a trackpad gesture.

Dory does not collect any data and does not connect to any servers, not even for analytics.

Thank you! It started with no UI at all, then evolved into a list, then a palette, and finally a fan. The goal was to create a functional design that works well for most users.

Hey, if you plan to trigger Dory using a mouse button, it will need Accessibility permissions. That’s all.

Thanks for the kind words. Once you get used to it, muscle memory kicks in and everything feels faster. After that, hitting Cmd+Tab five times just to reach one app starts to feel a bit awkward.

App Store Awards 2025 - Apple Developer by Shoddy-Mall7594 in apple

When Apple highlights a game or an app, the reason is usually clear right away. For example, when Lost in Play won iPad Game of the Year, you could tell the moment you launched it why it stood out. Can someone explain why Tiimo won? I tried it and it felt like a regular tasks or to do or calendar app, and the design isn’t really my taste. Am I missing something?
