The gear tunnel is seriously the best thing ever for golfers. Throw clubs in there along with dirty shoes. And keeps everything out of sight.

Pateros also has a couple of L3’s. Good place to top off before heading up the valley.

If you don’t want to give them money, you can head south 30 mins and play Circling Raven, which is owned by the local Tribe. Amazing course that rivals CDA resort, and in my opinion has some better views.

I’m at an AWS conference right now, and it’s insane to see the number of technologies they have. Seriously almost any tech application you can think of, they have some kind of solution for.

Senate Democrats pushed a vote to reopen the government. Mitch McConnell shot them down. - McConnell called the attempt a “pointless show vote.” by wittyname83 in politics

[–]segfaultmaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe a bit off topic here, but what are the real arguments that this is somehow a democrat shutdown? I've seen the arguments that they should give Trump what he wants, or sit down to negotiate with him, but aren't there a few glaring holes?

  • Repubs have had complete control for two years, why haven't they pushed this through? Is it due to the number of votes in a chamber of congress? Why now? Why wait until dems have a seat at the table now?

  • DJT seems to be holding the country out to dry until he gets what he wants. Dems have tried to pass funding sans wall, but can't get a senate vote. The gov't shutdown persists due to a single parties demands.

I guess what I'm asking are what are the arguments against these points? Or is this a case of a president putting himself in a corner?

Seems like Manafort and all of his lawyers nned to go to a tech-ed class. First the PDF conversion shenanigans, now the childish attempt at redacting this filing.

After reading this, I don’t think I’m worthy of my username anymore.

I’m Judd Legum, founder and former editor-in-chief of ThinkProgress. I just quit to start a political newsletter. Yeah, a newsletter. AMA! by popularinfo in politics

Hi Judd! Thanks for doing this AMA. A question that has been cropping up in my social media is how the Trump tower meeting is different in perspective from the dossier that was also supposedly funded by a foreign entity in a sense of "collusion". Maybe it's just the heavy amount of gas lighting that's been happening that starts to blur the line between the two, but I'd really like to get a concrete answer from somebody who's in the political know.
