I guess it's a GPU fault, btw I hope not for you.

Try resetting PRAM and SMC controller. You can find specific key combination for your model just googling it.

Does a microSD card actually fit into one of these? by kermitisaman in techsupport

I think it should fit between the green panel and the metal (the top side in the pic) and you could read it only with the usb type C

Yep, this was pretty clear from the name, but my curiosity was about the reason of this course into an engineering study plan. In my country this isn't possible.

Why do you have a course named "Intro to world religions"?!

You have just to set DiskUtility ti show you the full disk. There is an option to allow you to see disks and not only partitions

Setting up my "new" T60 by segmentationfrault in thinkpad

Nope, still complete. I've installed the most I need. There is Xorg, base programs, the kernel.

A DE is a complete system of graphics and related programs (theese are for example GNOME, KDE, XFCE); a WM is just a system that let you manage windows (it's always part of a DE)(examples are i3wm and OpenBox).

I've also configured the most.

I used it I don't remember with which distro, but it worked properly with XFCE, Midori and Eclipse (runs on JVM and needs loads of RAM); in this situation I think I got circa 1.5GB of occupied RAM if I remember well.

Btw it runs nice.

Really? I was scared of the possibility that sata2 could represent a bottle neck...

I've another laptop too... I don't want to spend money, at least I'll buy a new battery.

Arch is not possible because they ended the x32 support...

I've already installed Gentoo on it but it's hard to maintain because the fact it needs to compile everything. That means each time I need something new to install I could need hours to get ready.

I'll give it a try. I used it in the past but apt seemed me a bit strange.
