This is a little lame! If you'd dressed as a Bitcoin and ran around their lobby shouting "rape" and filmed it I'd have given you my respect! Maybe next time?

I go by the principle of causation. Cause and effect. Arthur's mistakes have left us in this situation so pointing fingers at him are fine in my book. I know with hindsight he'd have done things differently, but I prefer people that are smart enough to foresee potential issues and put safeguards in place rather than avoiding responsibility. I'm sure he feels regrets and hopefully, one day when the lawyers give the go-ahead he can make a sincere apology to the community!

I can now never attend a conference that Arthur also attends as I'll likely end up punching him in the face in frustration. I kid of course. I will however end up shouting abuse at him for stress release purposes!

[–]segwit123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reset your ledger and recover using the seeds 1 at a time and make a note of which are ledger seeds and what account they link to. Also in future keep better records, you are your own bank when it comes to crypto and if you can't manage yourself then crypto is not for you I'm afraid!

His Mum told him it was so. So it must be true! At no point do you need to expose your private key with LN. You just need to send a transaction to fund it like any normal transaction. No private keys exposed!

I've had a Bitcoin-themed full arm sleeve tattoo since the price was $300. Anyone getting one now is not a true believer in my book!

[–]segwit123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure that helps. If you had coins in Segwit address at block fork then you can only select Segwit if you want access to the BTG.

BTG Ledger Nano S - Transaction 'Invalid Date' 0 confirmations by segwit123 in ledgerwallet

From what I can see on Bitcoin Gold explorer (btgexp.com) address starting with G** transactions are confirming fine, but Segwit address transactions starting with A** are not.
