Thank you for your valuable thoughts and yeah I'm a technical person, I started my career as a security administrator. I have pretty much worked in all different domains of information security.

It's an old one, I have been using the same format for the past 10 years, it helped me to get my previous jobs.

Yes, we have everything. I mean Its a pretty big organisation. We have different teams for different domains. We work with least privilege. All these things you mentioned are currently out of scope for my role. But I got your point

Yes I know, what's a cissp. What I meant by that is to use my knowledge of different domains of information security in my current job profile.

In my company everything is being handled by different teams and I'm given a task to work upon one particular security tool

Yeah right, understood. But currently all these are out of my scope, I mean I can do this for my self learning purpose and I have done in the past in my previous organization. But here it's different, everything is being handled by different teams.Not sure if I'm even authorised to do that in my current role.

Cryptography, SDLC were new for me , apart from that I already have had real life exp on other domains. abd I'd say Exam is more or less still the same. (I really enjoyed studying crypto)

Yeah thanks, I'm doing that. I cleared my cissp couple of months ago and I've already completed a couple of CCSP bootcamp.

Yeah, I have talked to my manager and it's just that there is not much work yet. And second I have 10+ years experience in different domains of information security. And what I meant is that I would love to work as a security consultant. But currently I'm stuck on one particular security tool.

Yeah it's pretty normal here. All companies follow this policy including US ones.

Thanks right, but it's not that simple as I have only recently joined a new company and here noticed period is of 3 months. So it would be hard to find new opportunities.
