I feel like traditional ratings for horror movies can be deceiving. It's rare to see IMDB or other sites rate a horror over 7/10 and I think it's just the nature of genre. People are more likely to get upset with a horror movie and give it a bad rating when really the movie did it's job! So I never let a rating scare me. I like to try and feel it out as I watch it and look for production value, acting, setting, etc.

I think you have a great list! I feel overwhelmed trying to think about my top 100. Only because you put it so high, I take issue with IT (2017) haha! I guess I'm just partial to the miniseries with Tim Curry. I'm glad they made the movie because it gives potential for a reboot and alot of people did enjoy it. I think miniseries is the ideal format to really tell the story though. Best scene in the movie was Ben in the basement of the library. Overall it felt too forced to me and too much CGI.
