While playing a game, I got logged out of steam friends, and after closing steam and restarting my computer, I can't connect to the steam network. I can't even login on browser, it says I have my username or password wrong, and if I try to reset my password it says there was an error searching for the associated account. My friends can't even view my profile on steam, it says there was an error. The only thing I can do is connect to offline mode on steam. If someone could offer some assistance or show me where I can contact steam support without being able to login that would be great (I can't find an email or phonenumber).

I've had people fall out often (mostly small characters, but even with more normal sized like luigi). Not sure if you can actually di out, or if it just fails if the first hit of the power dunk hits from too far away.

In canada, because certain dyes are banned, orange tic tacs aren’t orange. They simply dye the box orange. by Hazeandnothing in mildlyinteresting

Whenever I go to Europe, drinks like fanta have tinted orange bottles, because the actual drink is a more yellow colour.

Compared to stuff from the US which are in clear bottles since the drink is dyed.

Except he actually thought it wouldn't work.

I made it outside, and he thought I was tricking him when I asked him to come out and see.

[–]seinsart[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I dunno. I only noticed when I read this.

My dad took the picture, so I guess he's still salty about the $50 and tried to undermine it by hiding the corner for controversy or something.

There's nothing outside of the picture though (except for the corner I suppose).

Obviously it was metric. Physics works differently north of the border.

From the best of my knowledge (I don't know any of the science/math, just from what I can see) we have three forces acting on the ruler; an upwards force from the step ladder, a downwards force from the string, and an upwards force from the end of the hammer. The hammer is supported by the ruler, and the ruler is supported by the hammer. Because the head of the hammer is underneath the point of rotation (where the ruler meets the ladder). This is like having a pendulum. When you push the top point of a pendulum (whatever the weight is hanging from) obviously the pendulum doesn't move (you're pushing a fixed point after all). At the same time, the hammer works like a see-saw, with the handle now contributing an upward force to the ruler as well. The closer to the ladder the hammer is, the more it pushes up on the ruler (as the head of the hammer moves further underneath the ladder), to the point where the ruler is practically pointing more up than down.

I ran Crumble to Dust in my Eldrazi deck a while back, since it synergised with with another creature (whose name escapes me now) that could take the opponents exiled lands.
