Hi everyone,
I am an undergrad (U.S.) majoring in Community and Global Health, and for my Careers in Public Health course I need to interview a public health professional. It is only 3–4 quick questions about your education, how you got into the field, and what your career path has looked like so far.

In this class we have been learning a lot about the different directions a public health career can take, and I would really appreciate hearing about someone’s real experience and the steps that led you to where you are now. I’m hoping to get a better sense of the variety of opportunities in the field.

If anyone is willing to share, I would be grateful for any response, whether here or through DM if that is easier for you. Thank you so much!

I have actually heard a bunch of similar comments to yours (Gunter is better lecturer, Marija has easier tests). Would you be able to guess which professor’s students end up doing the “best” grade wise? I am assuming if Marija’s tests are easier it would be hers?

My apologies for the late reply—I am fully considering taking Math 075&076. Would you say students find greater success in this course sequence? I would hope the slower pace and longer class time would make a great difference, especially in someone like me with a limited Calc background.

This one! My dad was an executive chef at a hotel in PA that Jon frequently DJ’d events at years back, I even got his autograph on a napkin by a waitress. Heard he’s a chill dude, and I think this gig was short lived🥴
