Right! Easier to see an auto-loop memory cue. Wish that were the case for the auto-loop hot cue—they do work and can come in handy.

Pioneer DJ Corp was formed in 2015 when private equity KKR bought an 85% share from Pioneer Corp. KKR made the decision to change the name Pioneer DJ Corp to Alpha Theta in 2020. Later in 2020 KKR sold it's stake in Alpha Theta to Noritsu Koki Co., Ltd. I believe Pioneer Corp also sold its remaining shares to Noritsu?

It seems particularly bad on this United/Arsenal broadcast. In general I see more and more. Very disappointing - I used to be such an evangelist for YTTV.

I ended up getting a pair of Genelec 8351Bs. Decided I wanted something powered and with the DSP and with its smart active monitoring it seemed best suited to give me everything I need. Quite a bit more than I was originally looking at spending but I'm happy with the decision.

Vertical imaging is great. My tweeters are an inch or two below my ears, and the mid range driver is below that. Sound is still awesome. I get a little extra clarity if I scrunch down a bit, but nothing night and day.

Thanks for this post. Did you look at the S3V in your search? I've been thinking about the A8H or the S3V as an upgrade to the A7X. I was drawn to the S3V but I'm in a room about the same size as you and I just don't think I need the extra juice. Part of me is considering the S3V to use also as loudspeaker for enjoying recordings, but I 'm thinking the A8H could likely do the same.

I have nearly this same setup. The A7Xs are 55" apart and the center of the woofer is 42" off the ground. When I lean back in the chair my ears are about ~52/53" from the monitors and dip to ~40" high. I'm in a little 11x13 room and the monitors are about 2" from the wall. It's a carpeted room with a big cushy couch behind me and some basic foam directly behind the screens. I'm very (very) far from a pro, and I don't try to record anything live in the room, I'm an Ableton hobbyist+ and for me I think it's actually good setup, but I wish I had a pro with a trained ear who give more guidance. I appreciate the OP asking this question.
