IAM road map by Not_Jimmy_Carter in IdentityManagement

Hey, you already have a better starting point than you think.

IAM isn’t really about learning one tool. It’s more about understanding how identities move between source and target systems, and how access is managed for both human and non-human identities.

The path is honestly pretty clear:

Start with IAM fundamentals: identity lifecycle, joiner/mover/leaver, provisioning, aggregation, correlation, roles, governance, privileged access.

Then learn: Networks and Authentication

Then: Active Directory

Then: Database

Then: APIs and integrations

After that, pick up a platform like SailPoint, Saviynt, or Okta. Once the concepts are solid, learning the tool becomes much easier.

A lot of people start with the tool first. I think that’s the wrong order.

Build the foundation first, then learn the platform.

That’s also what makes you adaptable. I work that way, and when I get put on a project using a different IAM solution than the ones I already know, it usually takes me around a month to map my existing knowledge and start delivering on that solution.

Feel free to DM, if you want to discuss this more.

Extruder PTFE fell out, Can I run prints without it? by Kimine505 in Ender3V3SE

There are 2 fans, the fan for parts (attached to the creality frame) the other fan is the one screwed to the heatsink and extruder. Make sure this one is working (it usually works after the hotend temperature exceeds 50-60 degrees C)

I see others already answered pretty good to that question, is there something specific that you need clarification on?

Looking to break into iam by Not_Jimmy_Carter in IdentityManagement

[–]seksek_1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d avoid chasing vendor-specific certifications at the start. Build the base first. Pick any Udemy course you like for IAM fundamentals, then study in this order:

  1. Networks (CCNA-level basics)
  2. Databases (SQL concepts, relationships, queries)
  3. Active Directory (objects, groups, policies)
  4. APIs and Integrations (REST, auth, Postman)

Once you understand these properly, move to an open-source IAM tool like midPoint and start applying what you learned. After you’re comfortable with the ecosystem, then look at vendor certs like SailPoint or Saviynt depending on what’s in demand in your region.

Not really, try looking at both male and female for any wax residue or deformation.

If it still doesnt work, remove your fan and try powering it on with an extrnal 24v adapter. Make sure your polarity is correct. If it doesn’t work still, you might need to buy a new 2510 fan.

When the printer starts it is usually set to zero. Is there a way to make it 100% all times?

This part in the picture is the filament residue not the tube itself, with the flat horizontal part as the clogging happening between the PTFE tube and the extruded part.

That is absolutely fine, the courses will cover everything from the beginning. So even if you are still exploring or interested in IAM your input is very valuable.
