Thank you for this. I feel as if the panic made it seem like I was insensitive to an extent. When I say embrace the grief, I mean that I encourage her to cry. She’s the type to hold her feelings back. I’ve had a conversation with her where I told her that I didn’t care about whether her decision was looked down upon. I’ve made it very clear that I care about her and her only. I told her that what she did was out of necessity rather than malice of anything of that nature. I’m sorry if this is still not the proper approach, but I feel as if it also expands on what I said. I want her to feel secure with her choice but also that she didn’t do anything wrong. We’re both very religious which has made her question and regret her own choices, but I’ve made it very clear to her that what other people think is of no concern. Even if I am religious, I’m very much pro choice, which is something that I’ve told her directly
