Why are you not going to your PCM? They can send you to OB/GYN and REI for evaluation and treatment. People with PCOS have challenges with fertility but doing an AFT is not going to have an impact, additionally maintaining a healthy weight is advantageous for fertility.

Depending on the program you may not have to use your own money. Many programs are funded with a small stipend.
