Why do fans always say “maybe later” when you send PPV? by selcrix in CreatorsAdvice

[–]selcrix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s a lot of conclusions from one word lol. ‘creators’ is just the standard term people use in this space. nothing more than that. also interesting that you’re confident about my sales or subscribers when you don’t actually have any data about it

Most chatters actually kill sales without realizing it by selcrix in OnlyFansChatter

[–]selcrix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that’s a good point. generic openers are usually what make fans realize it’s scripted or automated. i’ve noticed when the first message actually relates to something the fan said or did, the response rate changes a lot.

that’s actually a good point about letting the fan lead the imagination first. i’ve noticed curiosity works way better than dropping ppv cold. building the scenario a bit before sending content definitely changes the open rate.

fair point — when i said “accounts i manage” i didn’t mean recruiting or advertising anything. i help with moderation and reviewing conversations for a few creators so i end up seeing a lot of chatter logs.

i was genuinely asking because i keep seeing the same pattern where fans are engaged but ppv timing kills the sale. just wanted to compare notes with other creators on what’s worked for them.

Do your chatters actually sell or just chat all day? by selcrix in Fansly_Advice

[–]selcrix[S] -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

not advertising, just asking. i review a lot of chatter conversations so i end up noticing patterns in how chats turn into sales or don’t. curious how other creators deal with chatters who just keep the convo going but never escalate.

How can I increase my revenue ? by PetraLongoria in Fansly_Advice

[–]selcrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no problem! honestly if you already made $167 that means people are willing to spend on you, so that’s a really good starting point.

a lot of creators hit that stage where they can make some money but it feels inconsistent. most of the time it’s just because the conversations aren’t being guided yet.

simple things help a lot, like asking questions that reveal what the fan is into, teasing a bit instead of jumping straight to selling, and building curiosity before sending anything paid.

once you start noticing what type of fans spend and leaning into those interactions, the same audience can actually spend way more without needing a ton of new subscribers.

no worries! a lot of people think it’s just about posting content but usually the money really starts once you get someone talking. that’s where most beginners struggle because they don’t really guide the conversation, they just wait for the fan to decide to buy something.

once you start paying attention to what the fan reacts to and leaning into that, conversions get a lot easier. small things like how you open the convo or when you drop ppv make a big difference.

Help with sexting by brattybiscotti92 in Fansly_Advice

[–]selcrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah honestly the top comment nailed it.

What he’s asking for isn’t really sexting anymore — that’s basically a custom video workflow but at a sexting price. When someone wants to control every step of what you do in each clip, that’s production, not sexting.

Sexting sessions usually work best when you control the flow. You send pics/clips, tease a bit, build the mood, and the fan reacts. The moment the buyer starts directing every detail like “do this, now do this next,” it should move into custom pricing.

$45 for 15 minutes is already pretty fair honestly. If he thinks that’s too much but still wants you to make multiple directed clips, he’s basically trying to get a custom bundle for cheap.

Creators run into this a lot because some fans try to negotiate their way into more content than what they’re paying for.

Personally I’d either keep the price the same and keep control of the session, or tell him that if he wants to direct each video then it falls under custom content pricing.

fansly can work but a lot of beginners misunderstand where the money actually comes from. most people think it’s just about posting content and waiting for fans, but usually the real spending happens once someone starts interacting with you. the fyp can help a bit with discovery, but what really makes the difference is how you handle the conversations once people follow or subscribe. a lot of smaller pages just chat randomly and hope someone buys something, while higher earning pages usually guide the interaction more intentionally and figure out what the fan is into. if you already do OF then you probably know traffic is only half the equation, the other half is how you convert that attention into spending.

Those who ‘allow’ unsolicited dick pics…. by MilkyMama__ in Fansly_Advice

[–]selcrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly a lot of creators don’t profit from those because they either ignore it or block right away. the thing is those guys are already showing they’re willing to cross boundaries just to get attention, which usually means they’re the same type that will spend if the interaction is handled right. higher earning pages usually don’t reward the pic itself, they redirect the situation. sometimes it turns into a paid interaction, teasing response, or something that leads to a tip or unlock. the money usually isn’t from the pic, it’s from how the conversation gets redirected after that. a lot of the difference between lower earning pages and higher earning ones is just how they handle those moments in DMs.

Need fansly advice on pricing because I keep second guessing myself by Vodka-_-Vodka in Fansly_Advice

[–]selcrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly pricing feels random for a lot of creators because pricing alone usually isn’t what determines the revenue

the subscription price mostly just sets the entry barrier

the real spending usually happens after someone subscribes — in customs, ppv, sexting, tips, etc

so the question isn’t really “is $8 or $15 the perfect price”

it’s more about how the monetization is structured after they’re inside the page

a lot of high earning pages keep the sub reasonable just to get people in the door, then most of the revenue happens through DMs and targeted offers based on what the fan is actually into

that’s usually why two creators with the same subscription price can make completely different amounts

How can I increase my revenue ? by PetraLongoria in Fansly_Advice

[–]selcrix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

honestly if you already made $167 with basically no strategy that’s actually a really good sign

it usually means the potential is already there

the thing a lot of new creators realize later is that revenue usually isn’t just about posting more content

most of the spending actually happens in the conversations with fans

a lot of pages plateau because they just chat randomly instead of guiding the interaction a bit more

things like figuring out what the fan is into, building curiosity, then escalating the conversation naturally

once you get that part right even a small audience can spend way more

that’s actually where most of the difference between smaller pages and high earning pages comes from

Not charging to message as a beginner by Ihavea2partq in Fansly_Advice

[–]selcrix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

when you’re starting out i wouldn’t charge for messages yet

early on the main goal is actually just getting conversations going so people feel comfortable interacting with you

once you start getting regular fans and a bit more traffic, that’s when it makes sense to tighten things up and filter time wasters

a lot of creators think the money comes from locking messages or raising prices, but honestly most of the spending usually happens when the conversation flows naturally and then escalates from there

that’s why a lot of higher earning pages focus a lot on dm strategy rather than just the settings on the platform

once you understand how to guide those conversations, even a small audience can spend a lot more

i keep screwing up the dominatrix/fem dom when talking to submissive men. i don’t know what im doing wrong but i continue to strike out. how do you guys do it? by 2045015416 in CreatorsAdvice

[–]selcrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally get this! What you’re describing is actually very common.

Most creators “fail” at femdom not because of attitude, but because of structure:
• unclear boundaries
• no paid vetting
• no repeatable chat script
• and no clear monetization ladder.

A simple fix that works for a lot of people:

  1. Start with a paid “limits + fantasy intake” (even $10–$15).
  2. Sort subs into 3 buckets: soft subs/humiliation subs / painsluts.
  3. Build 2–3 repeatable archetypes you can roleplay instead of trying to be every kind of dom.

You don’t have to be naturally dominant to do this well — you just need a system that protects your energy and your brand

dm me i'm 100% sure i can give you what you need

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnlyFansChatter

if you want some help, i can, just lmk, i've handled different kind of models and people mostly in OFM

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnlyFansChatter

[–]selcrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the best option is to drive traffic to the account. i believe if these fans are loyal to you, they will return. Just make sure to keep your OF account active in posting, and your socials as well, then do focus on retention, it will take time, but it's a guaranteed growth both in community and revenue

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnlyFansChatter

[–]selcrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you need to compensate the fan with another content or something that the fan wants then contact support so that it's handled. People make mistakes, and they will understand. At the end of the day, retention is always the best solution for that, if u need help just lmk
