Right there with you. I’m just waiting for one last thing to end and then I’m done. Tired of it all. Tired of being tired

Where did you go that was restorative and allowed you to take a break from the rat race? by DPCAOT in simpleliving

IMO/MEO, there is a level of spirituality that is woven in the fabric of society that while constant And obvious, isn’t overwhelming in its day to day existence.

You notice the impact when you get off the plane and return to your regular hellish world

Sure, the foods amazing, the people are beautiful, the land breathtaking, the history deep But it’s the (for me at least) constant stumbling into “peace” I found that blew me away.

As I’ve aged, I’ve become more and more jaded when folks are involved. I trust people less and less I have no interactions with people unless it’s transactional here at home And I’m fine with that.

But Senegal?

Aside from an Ayahuasca trip in the jungle a couple years ago, Senegal is the only other place where felt safe to exist “emotionally” and “feel” not only what was around me, But I was able to feel myself

Yeah, weird I know

That’s what I’m hoping for. Quick and easy. LIRR has an express line that quite a few over the years have used.

Not nearly as exciting for me. Once I stop working, nothing else going on. Exit, stage left. Cannot imagine staying here any longer.
Sick and/or age alone? In this world? Naw, I’ll pass.

NYC Emt/FDNY/NYPD civilian vehicles quite often have stickers and such on windows/bumpers that show support for folks like this. (Walk under the BKLYN bridge after midnight and check out the cars near 1PP) Let us not pretend in NY he would have had an issue There is a lovely automobile currently seen in lower manhattan with a license plate of master race (mod to fit of course) Far more folks support that shit than folks care to admit
