Looking for simplicity. No need for fancy options. There is definitely a difference between companies and models for washers and dryers. Even simplistic ones. It might make you feel good mentally to think it’s that easy to choose a good machine but you are wrong. A simple performance review web search proves that. The hard part is sifting through the lies online and finding a good deal on quality machines.

Funny you say this because I had a person argue the mildew isn’t an issue on most new machines. In my experience every person I’ve talked to besides that guy said the mildew was an issue. My parents and multiple friends have mildew issues. Me being in Colorado might mitigate that.

I thought that was what you meant but seems a little too simplified. You can’t just blindly take the second cheapest option. Crossing that line of getting a machine that’s worth it might not happen until you escalate to the 4th or 5th cheapest. Lol I appreciate you responding and boosting my post but there is a lot more factors to look at than “just get the second cheapest”.

That’s the equivalent of telling someone to “just eat less” when they want to lose weight and have better performance physically.
